U3A Dénia is the second most northerly U3A branch on the Costa Blanca. Our inaugural meeting was on 24 January 2006. We currently have a membership of over 500, with nearly 25 groups in operation.
The main purpose of the U3A is to encourage lifelong learning and friendship for those no longer in full time employment by providing Educational, Recreational and Leisure activities for its members.The next Monthly Members' Meeting will be held on Thursday 18th September at the Casa de Cultura, Dénia, 10.30 a.m. for 11.00 a.m.

As you may have heard at the last members’ meeting, the position of Treasurer has recently become available and we are looking for a volunteer to take over from Gail Smith.
The responsibilities of the position are as follows:-

Dr. Maria Casado-Diaz is a lecturer at the University of the West of England, Bristol, and she is doing a research project on the lifestyles of British residents on the Costa Blanca.
